Description

  • Participate in the design and development of user growth algorithm strategies, including segmentation, recommendation, and incentive optimization.
  • Build user lifecycle models such as LTV prediction, churn warning, and conversion prediction from behavioral data.
  • Design and implement A/B testing experiments to measure and improve growth strategy performance.
  • Use machine learning and causal inference methods to analyze user characteristics and behavioral patterns.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to turn algorithmic work into measurable business growth outcomes.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Available to intern at least 4 days per week for a minimum of 3 months.
  • Solid foundation in machine learning and familiarity with models such as LR, GBDT, and DNN.
  • Proficient in Python with hands-on experience using NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently extract and analyze database data.
  • Familiarity with recommender systems, causal inference, reinforcement learning, or operations research/optimization is preferred.
  • Prior internship or project experience in user growth, computational advertising, or search/recommendation systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently.
  • Experience in data science competitions such as Kaggle or Tianchi with notable achievements is a plus.
  • Experience with growth methods such as Uplift Modeling and Multi-Armed Bandit is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark or Flink is a plus.
  • Publications in machine learning, data mining, or related fields are a plus.
