Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate, and maintain new and existing business relationships across the territory.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within OBGYN, MFM, genetic counseling, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate product utilization in the assigned geography.
  • Manage the full product sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams and influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers within a defined territory.
  • Proven sales track record with the ability to understand buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond to customer needs with effective time management.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, results-oriented, and able to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment with a strong internal drive to succeed.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, ethics, and patient information handling.
  • Ability to use discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
  • Women’s health background, clinical laboratory experience, or a convertible book of business are nice to have.
