Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business and cultivate long-term customer relationships across the territory.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities within the region, including clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate utilization in the assigned geography.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and collaborate with internal teams on product communication and market needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector, directly calling on providers in a specified territory.
  • Proven sales track record with strong understanding of buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment with strong self-motivation and internal drive.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, strategic thinking, and tactical execution skills.
  • Ability to work with urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Experience with consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving in a medical setting.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Professional discretion when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Women’s health background (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
  • Convertible book of business (preferred).

  • Total compensation range of $184,569 to $248,269 per year at plan.
  • Base salary range of $136,869 to $163,269 per year.
