Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business and maintain key customer relationships across the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within OBGYN, MFM, genetic counseling, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to grow utilization in the region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation and new business development.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate on how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and how it can evolve to meet market needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers within a specified territory.
  • Demonstrated success in sales with strong selling, listening, presentation, and customer-needs assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment with a self-motivated, results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to understand medical professionals' needs, including consultative selling, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Professional discretion in handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
  • Women’s health background is preferred.
  • Clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Convertible book of business is preferred.

  • Total compensation range of $184,569 - $248,269 per year at plan.
  • Base salary range of $136,869 - $163,269 per year.
  • Uncapped commission potential.
