Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate, and maintain new and existing business relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities across OBGYN, MFM, and genetic counseling clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to expand test utilization in the region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams as needed.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide market feedback to support product evolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers within a specified geographic territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record.
  • Strong understanding of buyer and decision-maker types in healthcare sales.
  • Effective selling, listening, and presentation skills with the ability to assess and respond to customer needs.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Must be self-motivated, results oriented, and able to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Ability to use discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Women's health background (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
  • Convertible book of business (preferred).
