Description

  • Drive utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business and maintain key customer relationships across the assigned geography.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate product adoption in the territory.
  • Manage the full product sales cycle, including lead generation and new business development.
  • Attend local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Shape how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide feedback to improve market fit.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in healthcare calling on providers within a specific geographic territory.
  • Proven sales track record with the ability to sell effectively, listen, present, and respond to customer needs.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess medical professionals' needs and support consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Comfort working independently in a startup environment with strong internal motivation.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • High integrity and professionalism in handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Preferred: experience in a startup environment.
  • Preferred: background in women's health.
  • Preferred: clinical laboratory experience.
  • Preferred: convertible book of business.

  • Base salary plus uncapped commissions.
  • Total compensation range of $184,569 to $248,269 per year at plan, including a base salary range of $136,869 to $163,269.
