Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the assigned region, including clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate utilization in the territory.
  • Manage the full product sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide market feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers within a specified geographic territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record with strong selling, listening, presentation, and customer-needs assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess medical professionals' needs through consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Comfort working independently in a startup environment with strong internal drive.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Strong professionalism and discretion when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Women’s health background (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
  • Convertible book of business (preferred).

  • Total compensation range of $182,346 to $245,856 per year at plan.
  • Base salary range of $124,646 to $150,656 per year.
  • Uncapped commission potential.
