Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect for new business and maintain key customer relationships across the territory.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within OBGYN, MFM, GC clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to accelerate utilization in the assigned geography.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external customers and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide feedback on product evolution to meet market needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers within a specific geographic territory.
  • Demonstrated success in sales with strong understanding of buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Effective selling, listening, and presentation skills with the ability to assess and respond to customer needs.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment with a strong internal drive to succeed.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking ability with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must act with urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals and staff through consultative selling, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Experience in a startup environment (preferred).
  • Women's health background (preferred).
  • Clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
  • Convertible book of business (preferred).

  • Total compensation range of $184,569 to $248,269 per year at plan, including a base salary of $136,869 to $163,269.
