Description

  • Create complete kitchen and bathroom remodel designs using 2020 Design software.
  • Develop cabinet layouts, floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and construction documents.
  • Review job site measurements and produce accurate, buildable designs.
  • Design functional spaces that align with client needs, project scope, and budget.
  • Revise designs based on client feedback, field conditions, supplier requirements, and project manager recommendations.
  • Verify design accuracy before materials are quoted, ordered, or installed.
  • Request, review, and compare supplier quotes for materials and lead times.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve design questions, pricing discrepancies, product availability, and specifications.
  • Place and track orders for cabinets, countertops, fixtures, tile, hardware, and other remodeling materials.
  • Partner with project managers, field supervisors, clients, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in kitchen and bathroom design, cabinetry design, interior remodeling, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with 2020 Design software.
  • Experience creating cabinet layouts, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom remodeling principles and related materials.
  • Experience coordinating material quotes, purchasing, or supplier communications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Experience working for a residential remodeling contractor or design-build firm (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cabinet manufacturers and remodeling suppliers (preferred).
  • Experience reviewing architectural drawings and construction documents (preferred).
  • Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, or inventory coordination (preferred).
  • Experience with CRM, project management, or estimating software (preferred).
