Description

  • Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features while reducing technical debt.
  • Develop, test, review, debug, and maintain frontend and backend applications.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code for AWS microservices and APIs.
  • Manage containerized microservices architectures and ensure application availability, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Build monitoring, logging, observability, and performance optimization capabilities.
  • Conduct test planning, automation, quality metrics tracking, performance testing, and security testing.
  • Participate in security reviews, vulnerability management, compliance activities, and infrastructure hardening.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, clients, and stakeholders to define requirements and resolve issues.
  • Create technical documentation, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support architecture and design decisions.
  • Mentor engineers, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to continuous improvement and technology evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or experience in DevOps, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and AWS CLI.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker, Amazon ECS, and container orchestration.
  • Understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and related infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably Bash or zsh.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Software development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or Python preferred.
  • AWS Associate or Professional certification, CloudWatch or New Relic experience, and PostgreSQL or DynamoDB experience preferred.
  • US citizenship or Green Card required; Bellese does not provide sponsorship.
  • Three years of continuous US residency and eligibility for a Public Trust position, including a government background investigation.
