Description

  • Contribute to project and product delivery by scoping, estimating, designing, and delivering medium-to-large features.
  • Own software quality across the SDLC in collaboration with engineers, external teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, documentation, and quality standards aligned with software and user requirements.
  • Automate testing to improve coverage, speed, and accuracy for continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Track, prioritize, and coordinate resolution of defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Monitor quality metrics and enforce testing best practices and standards.
  • Conduct performance and security testing while supporting compliance and audit documentation.
  • Design and maintain data ingestion, validation, reconciliation, and pipeline processes.
  • Evaluate QA tools, frameworks, and techniques to drive continuous improvement and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, query-plan analysis, and query tuning on large datasets.
  • Production PostgreSQL experience with schema design, indexing strategies, and live-system migrations.
  • Fluency in Python for ingestion handlers, validation logic, and reconciliation tooling.
  • Ownership of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience validating and reconciling data from sources without a single authoritative system.
  • Experience designing systems resilient to delayed, malformed, or changing third-party data feeds.
  • Experience with event-driven ingestion, preferably AWS Lambda, S3 Events, EventBridge, or Step Functions.
  • Experience with pharmacy, drug pricing, formulary, payer, NCPDP, First Databank, Medi-Span, or HPMS data is preferred.
  • Experience with Airflow, Dagster, dbt, Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, data-quality frameworks, or applied anomaly-detection ML is preferred.
  • US citizenship or Green Card, at least three years of US residency, and eligibility for a Public Trust position; sponsorship is unavailable.
