Description

  • Manage a team of software and QA engineers, currently consisting of 8 team members.
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development through one-on-ones and performance monitoring.
  • Drive efficient processes and engineering standards to support team success and technical excellence.
  • Participate in resource planning and recruitment to help scale the engineering organization as needed.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive team culture.
  • Lead development of backend systems and user interfaces using test-driven development.
  • Contribute to APIs, technical specifications, and data models that integrate with frontend applications and third-party systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data interactions while optimizing for performance, scalability, integrity, and security.
  • Design and develop user interfaces informed by UX designs and customer needs.
  • Support functional and non-functional automated testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of work experience.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • AWS knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on a large-scale system with over 100 users is preferred.
  • Experience with FHIR is preferred.
  • Experience with AI/ML is preferred.
  • US citizenship or Green Card only; sponsorship is not available.
  • US residency for at least the past 3 years and ability to meet Public Trust requirements, including a successful government background investigation.
