Description

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day project management contact for biotech, pharma, and adjacent life sciences clients.
  • Lead client-facing status meetings, steering committee check-ins, and escalation discussions.
  • Own project timelines, deliverable tracking, risk communication, and scope change management.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from charter and work breakdown structure through execution and close-out using PM tools.
  • Develop and maintain resource plans and risk plans across concurrent engagements.
  • Prepare executive-ready project updates, issue briefs, and other client communications.
  • Build trusted client relationships and support senior staff in workshops, strategy sessions, and business reviews.
  • Translate complex analytical and technology deliverables into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Map, document, and improve cross-functional workflows to increase delivery speed and consistency.
  • Define KPIs, build dashboards, coordinate UAT cycles, and support release communications for platform updates.
  • Partner with platform product owners to align internal roadmaps with client demand.
  • Lead special strategic initiatives such as tooling pilots, center-of-excellence launches, or M&A integration workstreams.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of project management experience in consulting, SaaS, health-tech, or life sciences environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of client-facing engagements as a primary point of contact.
  • Experience running status meetings, managing deliverable timelines, and navigating competing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet, Monday, or similar project management tools.
  • Fluency in both Agile/Scrum and traditional Waterfall frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and data/analytics pipelines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to client partners and C-suite executives.
  • Ability to manage 3–5 concurrent projects across distributed teams and competing deadlines.
  • Comfortable with approximately 25–30% client travel.
  • PMP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or similar certifications are preferred.
  • Prior exposure to commercial operations in biotech, pharma, or health-data analytics is preferred.
  • Experience implementing governance around AI/ML products or data-privacy frameworks such as HIPAA or GDPR is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent and ongoing basis without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
