Description

  • Participate in and lead the full biosignal algorithm development lifecycle for medical devices, from scoping through production and maintenance.
  • Gather specifications and requirements, and handle data curation, labeling, validation, and documentation.
  • Select and implement the most appropriate method for each problem, including deep learning and non-ML approaches when appropriate.
  • Enhance internal machine learning tools, model architectures, and code reuse to support faster experimentation.
  • Improve engineering best practices, including unit tests, documentation, CI, and non-regression testing.
  • Present algorithm results to stakeholders and help them use the algorithms for client engagement.
  • Support client-facing projects and help shape the impact of current and future algorithms for customers.
  • Work on formal validation, quality/regulatory documentation, and production deployment of algorithms.

Requirements

  • More than 4 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, preferably in health sciences or other regulated fields.
  • Proven track record of bringing algorithms into production.
  • Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics.
  • Proficiency with PyTorch or another deep learning framework for training, development, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with recent deep learning advances such as Transformers, ViTs, and large-scale model training.
  • Experience with software and ML engineering best practices, including testing, version control, code reviews, documentation, Docker, CI/CD, and experiment tracking.
  • Familiarity with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets, or enthusiasm to learn the domain.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical topics to internal and external audiences.
  • Comfort working across the full algorithm lifecycle, including data wrangling, formal validation, regulatory documentation, and deployment.
  • Based near Paris for a primarily remote role.
