Description

  • Design, deploy, and maintain automated educational evaluation systems using speech recognition, NLP, and LLMs.
  • Integrate and optimize third-party AI services, open-weight LLMs, and proprietary machine learning models.
  • Build end-to-end machine learning pipelines for data extraction, semantic analysis, multi-label classification, and predictive modeling.
  • Develop AI/ML systems for real-time, low-latency educational platforms serving concurrent users at scale.
  • Architect scalable Python backend services on cloud infrastructure for sub-second production inference.
  • Conduct model validation, bias analysis, and performance optimization to improve accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement cloud-native data engineering solutions using distributed systems and databases for large-scale educational datasets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to translate requirements into production AI architectures.
  • Write technical design documents, algorithm specifications, and architecture decision records.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ML engineering, AI systems development, or related software engineering in a startup environment.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems for real-time educational or adaptive learning platforms.
  • Experience with speech recognition, natural language processing, and large language model integration.
  • Experience architecting scalable Python backend services for low-latency, high-throughput AI inference on cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience applying semantic analysis, multi-label classification, and predictive modeling to automated evaluation systems.
  • Experience engineering large-scale distributed data systems and cloud-native pipelines.
  • Experience conducting model validation, bias analysis, and performance optimization across diverse user populations.
  • Programming experience in Python, including production ML pipelines, API services, and integration of third-party AI services with proprietary models.
