Description

  • Drive large-scale technical projects that span multiple teams and systems.
  • Define and champion front-end architecture, standards, best practices, and quality expectations.
  • Mentor teammates and model effective collaboration in pull requests, demos, and day-to-day work.
  • Lead significant architectural changes, including sunsetting legacy systems and improving UI performance and quality.
  • Own deliverables and drive projects from ideation through production.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product partners on planning, architecture discussions, and RFCs.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and feasibility issues early in the development process.
  • Ensure business goals and technical implementation remain aligned on large-scale initiatives.
  • Contribute to a team culture grounded in learning, clarity, positivity, and high technical standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software experience.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and React.js.
  • Experience with common UI development patterns, including state management, routing, web accessibility, form validation, and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with design systems, reusable components, and modern front-end tooling such as NPM, Webpack/Vite, and micro-frontends.
  • Deep experience building fast, predictable, and responsive interfaces.
  • Ability to diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks.
  • Fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex as part of the development workflow.
  • Strong judgment when evaluating, refining, and taking ownership of AI-generated output.
  • Strong product and design intuition.
  • Thoughtful, inclusive collaboration approach that values equity, access, continuous learning, and respectful environments.
