Description

  • Lead the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue and cost recording, and close optimization.
  • Mentor and develop the Accounting team, remove roadblocks, and support day-to-day performance.
  • Lead the annual audit and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Coordinate U.S. GAAP financial statements, footnotes, and external reporting deliverables.
  • Research complex accounting matters, prepare technical accounting memos, and evaluate new standards and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Own the accuracy, scalability, and hierarchy of the chart of accounts, general ledger, and financial statements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI tools across Accounting.
  • Partner with FP&A and tax on close deliverables, monthly reporting, and budget forecasts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years managing an accounting team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Experience with internal controls and process documentation.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting financial results and accounting implications.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, independent work, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar large language models.
  • Commitment to inclusive collaboration, continuous learning, and thoughtful decision-making.
  • Preferred: AdTech industry experience, prior remote work or remote management experience, and NetSuite experience.
  • Preferred: Experience implementing AI agents or workflow automations.
