Description

  • Lead accounting and accounting operations through the month-end close, ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition, journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, including removing roadblocks and supporting career growth.
  • Lead the annual audit and partner with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance.
  • Coordinate preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements, footnotes, and other external reporting deliverables.
  • Research, document, and advise on complex accounting matters, including equity, share-based compensation, leases, revenue recognition, and business combinations.
  • Assess and implement new accounting standards, policies, and relevant SEC reporting requirements.
  • Improve accounting processes through stakeholder partnership, automation, and AI tools.
  • Own the chart of accounts, general ledger, financial statement accuracy, and transaction classification decisions.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for technical accounting questions and partner with FP&A on budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of accounting experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing an accounting team, including remote team management.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience with internal controls and creating process documentation.
  • Ability to communicate financial results and accounting implications to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience using AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or similar large language models, to improve efficiency.
  • Commitment to inclusive collaboration, equitable decision-making, and continuous learning.
  • Experience in AdTech, NetSuite, remote work, or implementing AI agents and workflow automations (preferred).
