Description

  • Lead the unified product and technology strategy across POS software, payments, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap for core POS, payments, inventory, integrations, and APIs.
  • Develop and execute an AI and data strategy spanning code development, predictive analytics, and generative AI.
  • Lead and scale engineering across cloud-native platforms, mobile and in-store applications, payment systems, and embedded hardware.
  • Establish Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices across the technology organization.
  • Oversee QA and testing frameworks, including automated and manual testing, to improve quality and reliability.
  • Own platform security, cloud infrastructure, PCI-DSS compliance, data protection, and business continuity.
  • Lead Technical Support and Customer Operations to improve merchant support and self-service capabilities.
  • Partner with the CEO and Head of Sales on market positioning, target segments, and commercial priorities.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in senior product and technology leadership, such as CPTO, CTO, or CPO roles.
  • Experience in POS, fintech, payments, or SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Proven success scaling product organizations and engineering teams while maintaining quality and velocity.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and payment ecosystems.
  • Experience with PCI-DSS compliance and other payment and data privacy requirements.
  • Experience across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and UX through engineering, QA, and customer support.
  • Demonstrated success delivering AI/ML- and analytics-driven product innovation.
  • Customer-centric mindset with experience building data-driven product cultures.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and inspire technical teams.
  • Bonus experience with POS hardware-software ecosystems, retail technology, contactless payments, next-generation payment rails, generative AI, edge computing, IoT, global compliance, or product-led revenue models.
