Description

Engage directly with defense and government customers to understand edge compute requirements for mission-critical scenarios.
Translate customer problems into clear, actionable product requirements.
Identify and prioritize capability gaps across hardware, platform, monitoring, and ISV application layers.
Contribute to the federal product roadmap from requirements definition through development, QA, and launch.
Partner with engineering to deliver solutions that meet defense-grade security, reliability, and mission assurance requirements.
Serve as the primary product interface between defense customers, field teams, and engineering.
Advise sales, capture, and field teams on product and technical strategy for federal opportunities.
Support proposal development, technical evaluations, and customer briefings as the product subject matter expert.
Work with security and compliance teams on DoD, NIST, RMF, zero-trust, and classified deployment requirements.
Guide product features needed to support ATO processes and government compliance needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, master's degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
5+ years of product management experience for infrastructure, platform, cloud, or defense-related compute products.
Active U.S. Secret clearance required; TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred.
U.S. citizenship required.
Experience in the defense industry and with compute used in warfighter or mission-critical scenarios.
Experience supporting U.S. Government or Defense customers, including DoD, IC, or federal agencies.
Ability to translate defense customer problems into specific, actionable product requirements.
Strong background in distributed systems, cloud platforms, edge computing, or infrastructure software.
Familiarity with secure system design, zero-trust principles, and classified deployment models.
Experience supporting ATO processes or RMF documentation is preferred.
Experience with ISV application ecosystems in defense or government environments is preferred.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies is preferred.
Experience delivering hardware-integrated or edge computing products for defense, industrial, or public sector customers is preferred.
Prior military, intelligence, or government service experience is preferred.
