Description

  • Engage directly with defense and government customers to understand edge compute requirements for mission-critical scenarios.
  • Translate customer problems into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize capability gaps across hardware, platform, monitoring, and ISV application layers.
  • Contribute to the federal product roadmap from requirements definition through development, QA, and launch.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver solutions that meet defense-grade security, reliability, and mission assurance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary product interface between defense customers, field teams, and engineering.
  • Advise sales, capture, and field teams on product and technical strategy for federal opportunities.
  • Support proposal development, technical evaluations, and customer briefings as the product subject matter expert.
  • Work with security and compliance teams on DoD, NIST, RMF, zero-trust, and classified deployment requirements.
  • Guide product features needed to support ATO processes and government compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, master's degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
  • 5+ years of product management experience for infrastructure, platform, cloud, or defense-related compute products.
  • Active U.S. Secret clearance required; TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience in the defense industry and with compute used in warfighter or mission-critical scenarios.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government or Defense customers, including DoD, IC, or federal agencies.
  • Ability to translate defense customer problems into specific, actionable product requirements.
  • Strong background in distributed systems, cloud platforms, edge computing, or infrastructure software.
  • Familiarity with secure system design, zero-trust principles, and classified deployment models.
  • Experience supporting ATO processes or RMF documentation is preferred.
  • Experience with ISV application ecosystems in defense or government environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies is preferred.
  • Experience delivering hardware-integrated or edge computing products for defense, industrial, or public sector customers is preferred.
  • Prior military, intelligence, or government service experience is preferred.
