Description

  • Own the Registry experience end to end across user flows, brand expression, information architecture, and interaction patterns.
  • Translate company goals into design priorities and define the sequence of bets needed to reach the 12-18 month vision.
  • Set and uphold the quality bar for UX, delight, product excellence, and measurable business impact.
  • Plan and execute user research and use qualitative and quantitative evidence to guide design decisions.
  • Work hands-on in the codebase, prototypes, and production-quality interfaces when that is the fastest path to impact.
  • Lead, hire, develop, retain, and manage a team of 3-4 product designers.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, analytics, marketing, and merchandising leaders to move high-impact work forward.
  • Define and evolve AI-native design workflows, rituals, and craft standards across the Design organization.
  • Build systems and processes that help the team execute with quality, consistency, and speed.
  • Contribute to the operating model, hiring bar, and craft standards of the broader Consumer Tech organization.

Requirements

  • Experience leading product design for consumer web and native mobile experiences.
  • A portfolio demonstrating shipped consumer product work with strong attention to transitions, motion, accessibility, and overall craft.
  • Ability to combine user needs, business priorities, and product strategy into a clear design vision.
  • Experience planning and running generative and evaluative research.
  • Comfort using AI tools to prototype, explore, iterate, and ship work quickly.
  • Hands-on ability to work directly in code and build production-quality interfaces when needed.
  • Strong systems thinking across multi-product, cross-platform ecosystems and design systems.
  • Experience hiring, developing, retaining, and managing designers with direct performance feedback.
  • Ability to instrument design work, track metrics, and own outcomes rather than only shipping output.
  • Preferred: experience shaping AI-first or AI-native design practices and operating models.
