Description

  • Enhance an existing TypeScript and JavaScript codebase.
  • Architect the application and collaborate with the team to integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Design the overall application framework, including component hierarchy, authentication, and error handling.
  • Implement the front-end build, deployment, and CI pipeline.
  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture.
  • Deliver high-quality, well-factored, and tested JavaScript applications.
  • Work independently with minimal technical supervision while meeting time constraints.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and front-end coding skills, including HTML and CSS.
  • 5+ years of experience with React and 5+ years of experience with GraphQL.
  • Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.js.
  • Strong self-drive, motivation, work ethic, and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with backend development using Java or Node.js (preferred).
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages such as C#, Java, or Python (preferred).
  • Experience building RESTful web services (preferred).
  • Experience writing SQL and using NoSQL databases (preferred).
  • Experience with automated testing, including TDD, mocking, and unit/functional/integration tests (preferred).
  • BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB, web servers such as Apache, and UI/UX design (preferred).
