Description

  • Contribute to building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms and tools.
  • Apply site reliability engineering principles to improve system stability and performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in distributed cloud-native systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support service reliability and operational excellence.
  • Create and maintain documentation that improves engineer support and self-service capabilities.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
  • Continuously develop skills and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar.
  • Experience with Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar.
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C#, or Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
  • Experience with observability tools, including logging, metrics, and APM.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts such as Terraform or ARM.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Australian government security clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance through AUS citizenship, is required.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
