Description

  • Support technical and value-based sales efforts through presentations, architecture discussions, competitive displacement, proof-of-concept engagements, RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.
  • Support the transition of sales opportunities into successful delivery through Professional Services and partner networks.
  • Research, network, and develop regional expertise to identify future solution opportunities and inform product roadmap thinking.
  • Present and evangelize Axon’s technical and business value propositions at industry events.
  • Develop deep technical knowledge of Axon solutions and relevant domain expertise.
  • Document customer feature requests and issues and provide feedback to sales and product management.
  • Support product testing and evaluations.
  • Conduct customer site assessments, including technology infrastructure assessments.
  • Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers and colleagues.
  • Proactively plan to prevent pre-sales and post-sales issues and shorten time to revenue.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a similar related field.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel significantly, approximately 70%, including some international travel.
  • Valid passport and clean driving license.
  • Native-level Spanish and excellent English language skills.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more specializations such as Digital Video, Mobile communications, IP Engineering, IP security, Embedded Systems, IAM, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of CCTV systems, VMS, network technologies, and the IP stack, including technologies such as Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Ocularis, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, VPN gateways, and proxies.
  • High technical knowledge of computing infrastructure components, data centers, and system support.
  • Experience in data integration and data analysis to support a growing product portfolio.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or OpenStack.
  • Demonstrable project management experience leading successful PoCs.
  • Evidence of working effectively in a global team, remotely, and independently.
  • Experience implementing and managing relational database solutions, particularly Microsoft/Azure SQL, is an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of SAN technologies such as EMC or HP 3Par is an advantage.
