Description

  • Support regional sales teams with market development, procedural coverage, troubleshooting, education, training, customer service, and follow-up.
  • Develop and implement a regional plan with the Regional Sales Manager and Territory Managers to grow market share and improve customer service.
  • Build relationships with hospital personnel, physicians, lab staff, lab supervisors, and purchasing personnel to expand contacts and identify key decision makers.
  • Meet with current and prospective customers to assess clinical needs and demonstrate how company products can support patient care goals.
  • Educate customers on the clinical use of company products through presentations, demonstrations, and other educational materials.
  • Support professional education activities such as PEER meetings, hospital stroke symposia, and continuing education programs.
  • Assist in training new employees, including Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.
  • Serve as a primary clinical resource for case coverage, troubleshooting, product follow-up, and incident reporting.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by coordinating solutions with senior management, sales, and marketing.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s Quality Management System, security and privacy principles, and applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, neuroscience, biology, or a related discipline.
  • Additional training and certification in radiology, neuro-interventional technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting or medical device company, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sales or marketing background preferred.
  • Strong clinical, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a busy, demanding, and competitive environment.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% and provide occasional 24/7 on-call availability.
  • Ability to wear 7-9 pounds of lead for extended periods in the angio suite and lift up to 25 pounds.
