Description

  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, office hours, lunch-and-learns, and self-paced content for AI tools and applications.
  • Create and maintain enablement materials such as quick-start guides, prompt engineering playbooks, FAQs, video walkthroughs, and best-practice documentation.
  • Run an internal AI champions program to cultivate power users and expand adoption across business units.
  • Track and report adoption metrics, including usage, engagement, satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Partner with teams across the company to identify AI use cases that reduce toil, improve quality, and create leverage.
  • Prioritize use cases and work with the Corporate AI Team to scope and deliver solutions.
  • Build lightweight prototypes and demos to show what is possible before engineering investment.
  • Serve as the primary internal voice for Axon’s AI platform by communicating roadmap updates, new capabilities, and success stories.
  • Create compelling internal content such as blog posts, newsletters, Slack updates, demo videos, and presentations.
  • Educate teams on safe and responsible AI use, including secrets management, data classification, prompt injection risks, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology roles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML, developer relations, technical evangelism, enablement, or a closely related domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in writing, presentations, and one-on-one conversations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and platforms such as LLMs, coding assistants, automation frameworks, and cloud AI services.
  • Strong understanding of software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology stacks.
  • Track record of driving technology adoption or transformation initiatives within an organization.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization, including executive audiences.
  • Experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, technical evangelism, or technical training is preferred.
  • Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM platforms is preferred.
  • Experience building internal enablement programs such as training curricula, champions programs, office hours, or documentation libraries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and compliance requirements such as CJIS, FedRAMP, and SOC 2 is preferred.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Jira, Confluence/Quip, Slack, M365, Salesforce, or Snowflake is preferred.
  • Public speaking experience at conferences, webinars, all-hands presentations, or customer events is preferred.
  • Background in public safety, government technology, or regulated industries is preferred.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and AI evaluation methods is preferred.
  • Content creation skills, including writing, video production, or visual design, are preferred.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
