Description

  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, demos, office hours, and self-paced enablement content for employees.
  • Create and maintain internal AI enablement materials such as quick-start guides, playbooks, FAQs, video walkthroughs, and documentation.
  • Run an internal AI champions program to cultivate power users and expand adoption across business units.
  • Identify, prioritize, and champion high-impact AI use cases with teams across Finance, Sales, Operations, Legal, HR, Support, and Engineering.
  • Partner with the Corporate AI Team to scope, prototype, and deliver AI solutions and demos.
  • Track and report adoption metrics, engagement, satisfaction, and business impact to measure progress.
  • Serve as the primary internal voice for Axon’s AI platform and communicate roadmap updates, new capabilities, and success stories.
  • Create content such as blog posts, newsletters, Slack updates, presentations, and demo videos to keep AI visible and accessible.
  • Present adoption progress and strategic recommendations to leadership and executive audiences.
  • Educate teams on safe and responsible AI use, including governance, compliance, data handling, and security best practices.
  • Partner with Security, Legal, and Governance teams to align AI programs with company policies and ethical commitments.
  • Evaluate new AI tools and vendors and recommend what to adopt, pilot, or avoid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in technology roles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML, developer relations, technical evangelism, enablement, or a closely related domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in writing, presentations, and one-on-one conversations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and platforms, including LLMs, coding assistants, automation frameworks, and cloud AI services.
  • Strong understanding of software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology stacks.
  • Track record of driving technology adoption or transformation initiatives within an organization.
  • Self-directed comfort operating with ambiguity and ability to build direction without an existing roadmap.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-suite executives.
  • Preferred experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, technical evangelism, or technical training at a technology company.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or similar.
  • Preferred experience building internal enablement programs such as training curricula, champions programs, office hours, and documentation libraries.
  • Preferred familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and compliance requirements such as CJIS, FedRAMP, and SOC 2.
  • Preferred experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Jira, Confluence/Quip, Slack, M365, Salesforce, or Snowflake.
  • Preferred public speaking experience at conferences, webinars, all-hands presentations, or customer events.
  • Preferred background in public safety, government technology, or regulated industries.
  • Preferred understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and AI evaluation methods.
  • Preferred content creation skills in writing, video production, or visual design.
