Description

  • Own the release calendar and keep stakeholders informed on timelines, status, and changes.
  • Use data analytics and AI to analyze ticket distribution, identify trends, and refine sprint planning.
  • Forecast workload and adjust resource allocation based on delivery insights.
  • Proactively identify, track, and manage dependencies to prevent bottlenecks.
  • Monitor critical tickets and customer commitment deadlines, escalating risks early with clear paths to resolution.
  • Help define roadmap timelines and break down critical tickets into manageable work items.
  • Develop and implement capacity planning processes to forecast team bandwidth and align resources with strategic objectives.
  • Track and report progress against engineering OKRs and surface delivery risks to leadership.
  • Bridge engineering, product, sales engineering, and customer success to ensure customer commitments are understood and delivered.
  • Own cross-functional customer escalations through resolution, communication, and post-incident pattern analysis.
  • Manage the delivery lifecycle for private and on-prem customer deployments, including updates, upgrades, and support.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of technical program management experience, including customer-facing delivery.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent program management certification required.
  • Proven track record managing engineering execution and customer-facing programs at scale in SaaS or security environments.
  • Deep expertise in JIRA, Confluence, and engineering analytics tools.
  • Strong ability to translate customer needs into engineering requirements and explain technical constraints to customers.
  • Excellent communication skills across engineering, product, leadership, and customers.
  • Experience mentoring junior managers and fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and escalate risks proactively.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven mindset with ability to build and interpret dashboards.
  • Exposure to GenAI LLM-based systems such as Claude, Codex, or Gemini.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, and application security preferred.
  • Experience with AI-powered platforms and engineering OKRs preferred.
  • Prior experience managing private deployments or enterprise customer implementations preferred.
  • Experience introducing process innovations that improved sprint planning, customer onboarding, and delivery excellence preferred.
  • Experience at a scaled SaaS company with a 50+ person engineering org operating across multiple time zones preferred.
