Description

  • Build AI-powered internal tools and data-driven systems for analytics, reporting automation, and workflow intelligence.
  • Develop AI/ML platforms that process and analyze large-scale operational data from 30 million+ websites.
  • Design and deploy RAG systems, LLM-powered features, and agentic workflows that generate actionable insights.
  • Build data pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve behavioral and operational data at scale.
  • Prototype and ship AI solutions that reduce manual effort and improve internal decision-making.
  • Evaluate and select models, frameworks, and infrastructure based on performance, cost, and latency needs.
  • Write clean, well-tested, production-grade Python code with logging, observability, and error handling.
  • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to translate needs into tools people actually use.
  • Keep up with the evolving AI landscape and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.
  • Communicate and support teammates effectively across chat, audio, and video.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience building AI/ML systems in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including packaging, testing, type hints, and async programming where appropriate.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
  • Ability to build a RAG pipeline from scratch.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, or Qdrant, plus embedding models.
  • Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, including fine-tuning versus prompt engineering and proper evaluation methods.
  • Experience building and deploying APIs such as FastAPI or Flask that serve ML models in production.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data processing at scale using SQL, pandas, Spark, or similar tools.
  • Competence with Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and code review workflows.
  • Ability to iterate and ship quickly without sacrificing code quality.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills for diagnosing production issues at scale.
  • Ability to keep complex systems simple.
  • Previous remote work experience and the ability to manage time and communicate proactively.
  • Reliable personal computer and internet access.
  • Availability for audio/video meetings and Slack presence between 9 AM and 1 PM EST daily.
  • Experience with model fine-tuning techniques such as PEFT, LoRA, or QLoRA, and quantization for cost optimization, preferred.
  • Experience building multi-agent systems with CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar frameworks, preferred.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices such as model versioning, drift monitoring, and experiment tracking with MLflow or Weights & Biases, preferred.
  • Experience with Databricks, AWS SageMaker, or similar ML platforms, preferred.
  • Published research, open-source contributions, or technical writing demonstrating depth of understanding, preferred.
  • Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem, PHP, or SaaS product development, preferred.
  • Experience building internal tools and data platforms that non-technical teams rely on daily, preferred.
  • Experience with MCP, function calling, structured output, or similar LLM integration patterns, preferred.
