Description

  • Establish, develop, and lead local operations in Pakistan from launch through ongoing execution.
  • Own the country P&L, driving commercial performance, sustainable growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Navigate Pakistan’s regulatory landscape and manage engagement with the State Bank of Pakistan and other regulatory bodies.
  • Build strategic partnerships with local banks, payment service providers, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities to strengthen the company’s position in Pakistan’s fintech and payments ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Treasury, Finance, and other internal teams to support local operations.
  • Represent the company in the Pakistani market and independently address business, regulatory, and operational challenges.
  • Align local priorities with regional and global strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services, ideally in a senior leadership or country management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s financial services and payments ecosystem, including local regulations and market dynamics.
  • Established relationships with the State Bank of Pakistan, local banks, payment providers, and other financial institutions.
  • Direct experience engaging regulators and central banks, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing P&L, business operations, and commercial growth.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders, influence decision-makers, and navigate complex environments.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial ability to independently establish and manage local operations.
  • Currently based in Pakistan or willing to relocate.
