Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on federal and state statutory, regulatory, and health policy issues affecting pharmaceutical and biotech clients, with a focus on vaccines.
  • Analyze policy, legislative, and regulatory developments and translate their business implications into actionable client recommendations.
  • Support and help manage project teams delivering qualitative and quantitative research, regulatory analysis, evidence support, policy strategy, and policy modelling.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and short- and long-term deliverables, including project budgets, timelines, and client engagement.
  • Solve complex client issues with limited oversight and develop novel solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conduct and synthesize primary market research, including interviews and advisory boards with healthcare decision-makers.
  • Manage and mentor Associates, supporting their consulting skills and subject-matter development.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and subject matter experts to deliver policy and business support to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, health economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, a vaccine manufacturer, or a similar organization focused on vaccine policy, market access, marketing, or commercialization.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. vaccine policy and market access landscape, including pricing, contracting, and reimbursement across Medicare, Medicaid, VFC, Section 317, Universal Purchase states, and commercial markets.
  • Experience managing primary market research, including in-depth interviews and advisory boards with payers, IDNs, public health providers, or other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Ability to translate research findings into client-facing strategic recommendations.
  • Project management experience, including budget tracking, timeline management, and client engagement.
  • Experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, or regulations and communicating findings to clients and public audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate and synthesize scientific literature, including published research methods, datasets, and statistical analyses.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and situational leadership skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills; experience with market access materials, MLR review cycles, and Veeva Vault is preferred.
