Description

  • Develop SQL and occasional Python solutions, data visualizations, and data models using tools such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Design, deploy, and optimize data pipelines and analytical environments with BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Looker.
  • Support projects through setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, meetings, presentations, and deliverable reviews.
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable plans.
  • Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives including mentorship, recruitment, strategy, and methodology improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or a data-focused role, with strong SQL experience.
  • Hands-on experience building, managing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions with BigQuery, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Looker.
  • 3+ years of project management, process, implementation, and SDLC experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with client-facing requirements gathering, meeting facilitation, presentations, and deliverable approvals.
  • Experience designing and building relational databases and/or data warehouses.
  • Experience with business-driven or self-service BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in Media & Entertainment or Consumer Products, large consulting firms, cloud computing, data automation, data profiling, and business stakeholder presentations.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with dbt and ability to use scripts or programming languages to automate data tasks.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on project scope or management direction.
