Description

  • Create product roadmaps based on usability studies, customer and competitive research, and collaboration with the development team.
  • Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and Market Requirement Documents (MRDs).
  • Develop business cases and own financial planning accountability for the product portfolio.
  • Write detailed product requirements for engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners.
  • Present product vision through demonstrations to stakeholders.
  • Support sales and marketing with rollout strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor financial and quality metrics and use data to improve product performance and capabilities.
  • Track competitive landscape and technology trends.
  • Lead tradeshow management and product-line selling efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a strong emphasis on whole product methodologies and product marketing.
  • Expert working knowledge of AV programming in the Audio-Visual Control & Automation segment of the AV industry.
  • Experience in agile development and high-throughput product development cycles.
  • Demonstrable AV programming skills, certifications, and knowledge in one or more of: Q-SYS Lua scripting, UCI authoring and plugins, Q-SYS Reflect, Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+ and VT Pro-e, Crestron XiO Cloud, AMX NetLinx, Extron Global Scripter, and Python.
  • Experience managing OEM/ODM relationships is a plus.
  • AIPMM certification is preferred.
  • Experience with AV-over-IP video products, technologies, and systems is preferred.
  • Prior technical AV sales experience with an integrator, manufacturer, or rep firm is preferred.
  • Degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
