Description

  • Assist in developing and documenting data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Support the definition of data domains such as Customer, Finance, and Student.
  • Help establish and document data ownership and stewardship roles.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues.
  • Support the creation, execution, and monitoring of data quality rules and metrics.
  • Help troubleshoot data inconsistencies across systems.
  • Document data definitions, business terms, and data lineage.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of data catalogs and glossaries.
  • Participate in workshops and meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Gather business requirements and communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Lead and/or support business development efforts, including proposal development and solution design.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, data governance, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with datasets.
  • Understanding of data quality, data structures, and basic ETL processes.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience communicating with both technical and business teams.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in data governance and strategy.
  • Exposure to Informatica IDMC, Collibra, and/or Alation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake (preferred).
  • Exposure to Boomi Platform or MuleSoft (preferred).
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau (preferred).
  • Internship or project experience with data governance or MDM concepts (preferred).
