Description

  • Own infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation initiatives from design through rollout and iteration.
  • Design and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Build and improve GitHub Actions pipelines for fast, safe, repeatable deployments.
  • Create automation and tooling that reduces operational toil across engineering.
  • Establish Datadog monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and SLOs for core systems.
  • Participate in incident response and lead postmortems and reliability improvements.
  • Support product teams with deployment pipelines, environment issues, and build troubleshooting.
  • Manage preview and staging environments, including data synchronization, masking, and cleanup.
  • Improve developer experience through tooling, runbooks, documentation, design reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or backend engineering in production environments.
  • Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Track record of delivering automation, pipelines, or infrastructure improvements that increased productivity or reliability.
  • Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code, preferably Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Strong software engineering skills and command of Linux.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and debugging across logs, traces, and metrics.
  • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and containerized workloads.
  • Strong understanding of reliability, performance, and security tradeoffs.
  • Healthcare, digital health, or regulated-industry experience, including HIPAA, PHI, or SOC 2, preferred.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, incident response, on-call practices, postmortems, database migrations, or multi-environment management preferred.
