Description

  • Work closely with stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions.
  • Design and implement new extensions in the Workday environment.
  • Prepare business requirement documents, configuration documents, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Own work end-to-end from requirement clarification through design, implementation, testing, and handoff.
  • Make technical design decisions, surface tradeoffs, and estimate effort and risk accurately.
  • Provide support to team members and key stakeholders and contribute to peer code reviews.
  • Set up and maintain build environments, CI configurations, and delivery infrastructure.
  • Lead a development team as technical decision-maker and day-to-day point of contact, if in a Team Lead role.
  • Allocate work, manage team capacity, and coordinate delivery with the Project Manager and QA Lead, if in a Team Lead role.
  • Prepare status updates, communicate risks and blockers, and participate in recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and training, if in a Team Lead role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a recognized university.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience implementing Workday integrations.
  • 6+ years of software development experience with Java, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with Workday HR module expertise.
  • Experience with Prism Analytics expertise.
  • Experience with WD Studio expertise.
  • Experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Located in Canada; relocation support is not provided.
  • Preferred: WD Extend expertise.
  • Preferred: Enterprise Interface Builder experience.
  • Preferred: Finance expertise.
  • Preferred: Salesforce experience.
  • Preferred: PeopleSoft experience.
