Description

  • Design and optimize derivatives products (perpetuals, options) with a focus on performance, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Build and launch trading features such as grid trading, block trades, and trading bots tailored for DeFi users and institutional counterparties.
  • Integrate and tune margin and risk models (e.g., isolated margin, Multi-Assets margin) to enhance capital efficiency and protocol safety.
  • Define and manage trading parameters (tick size, leverage tiers, fees) and adjust them based on user and market feedback to improve system stability.
  • Implement monitoring, stress-testing, and other tooling to detect, manage, and mitigate market and protocol risk.
  • Gather and incorporate user and market feedback to prioritize product improvements and roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, trading, and operations teams to deliver features and maintain protocol reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field (Math, Computer Science, Physics, Financial Engineering, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience and strong interest in derivatives and decentralized exchanges (examples: GMX, dYdX, Hyperliquid).
  • Prior experience as a product manager or experience in trading, risk, or quant-related roles.
  • Analytical mindset with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • Experience defining trading parameters and implementing/tuning margin and risk models (preferred).
  • Ability to work remotely from or support markets in Singapore, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Hong Kong, or South Korea.
