Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and close partnerships with VCs, market makers, hedge funds, quant firms, and strategic partners.
  • Lead Aster’s institutional growth strategy in Asia and bring in meaningful trading volume through new and existing relationships.
  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle from sourcing and negotiation through onboarding, retention, and long-term relationship management.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations to align institutional business development with the product roadmap, campaigns, and performance goals.
  • Represent Aster at crypto conferences, investor roundtables, and institutional meetups to strengthen brand visibility and industry relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong network across VCs, market makers, funds, quant firms, and institutional trading partners.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or institutional sales within CEX/DEX, prime brokerage, hedge fund, or market maker environments.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value institutional deals and delivering measurable trading volume.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly results-driven and able to source and convert leads independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of crypto market structure, perpetual DEX models, and institutional trading dynamics.
