Description

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for DVM, relief DVM, and Practice Manager searches from intake through offer close.
  • Source passive candidates through Boolean search, professional networks, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain candidate relationships and represent the company professionally throughout the recruiting process.
  • Own and maintain the candidate pipeline in Workable, including records, stages, and notes.
  • Partner with hiring managers, clinic leadership, and HR to align on requirements, feedback, and timelines.
  • Screen and qualify applicants through structured phone and video interviews.
  • Coordinate offers in partnership with clinic leadership and the Regional Operations Manager.
  • Track and report on time to fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness.
  • Refine recruiting strategy based on pipeline and sourcing data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either agency or in-house.
  • Veterinary industry recruiting experience is required.
  • Proven success sourcing and placing candidates in a competitive or supply-constrained market.
  • Hands-on sourcing experience, including Boolean search and outreach that gets responses.
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions at once without losing candidate momentum.
  • Comfort using AI tools and willingness to learn new ones.
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must reside on the West Coast (California, Oregon, or Washington).
  • Ability to work flexible hours outside of standard 9–5.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for clinic onboarding, candidate interviews, career fairs, and events.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system, especially Workable (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT (preferred).
