Description

  • Draft, maintain, and update Data Transfer Agreements for client and partner data-sharing arrangements.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT security to align DTAs with data flows, retention policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for DTA scope during client onboarding and contract renewals.
  • Track DTA revision history and proactively flag expirations or gaps.
  • Lead structured gap analyses across multiple data environments to identify coverage, mapping, and quality issues.
  • Produce gap analysis documentation with prioritized remediation recommendations for data engineering and product teams.
  • Monitor gap metrics and communicate trends through dashboards and recurring reports.
  • Serve as a client-facing resource for data-related questions, onboarding, and reporting needs.
  • Lead client data reviews and present findings, gaps, and resolution timelines to stakeholders.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analytical reporting.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions for client and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, lineage maps, integration runbooks, and other documentation.
  • Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement in data collection, mapping, and quality control workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst with direct client-facing or customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, or maintaining Data Transfer Agreements or similar data governance documents.
  • Intermediate-level SQL experience, preferably in Snowflake, including complex multi-CTE queries and aggregations over large datasets.
  • Strong experience conducting gap analysis between source and target data systems with formal documentation of findings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting and client-facing presentations.
  • Understanding of ETL or ELT processes.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or specialty pharmacy data environments, such as hub services, patient support, and copay programs.
  • Experience with dbt, data warehouse modeling, or column-level data lineage tools.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy regulations, and data governance frameworks relevant to healthcare data sharing.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
