Description

  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and guide developers to deliver work on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to document issues, align priorities, and manage expectations across engineering and business objectives.
  • Own application support and minimize interruptions for engineering teams.
  • Oversee Jira-based issue tracking, workflow management, reporting, and team alignment.
  • Manage task boards, backlog prioritization, workload planning, and progress tracking.
  • Remove impediments and bottlenecks that could slow support or project delivery.
  • Drive automation, best practices, efficiency improvements, and adoption of new technology.
  • Strengthen system stability, refine tooling, and improve operational workflows.
  • Set direct-report goals tied to company OKRs and ensure team KPIs and commitments are met.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on maintainability, scalability, and developer efficiency.

Requirements

  • Atlassian Jira experience, including workflow management, automation, and reporting.
  • 2+ years of lead or management experience.
  • 4+ years of experience building React web applications.
  • 4+ years of experience working with databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
  • 4+ years of experience coding in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Serverless experience with AWS, including API Gateway and Lambda.
  • Experience with browser compatibility and mobile-friendly standards.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and source control tools such as Jira and Bitbucket.
  • Optimization experience.
  • Experience with Python, UX, and AWS tools is a nice bonus.
  • Strong organizational skills with a results-oriented, bias-for-action approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and taking responsibility for work goals.
