Description

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze results, and provide ad hoc financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Managing Director and align them with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor cash flow, optimize the cash cycle, and improve free cash flow.
  • Assess financial processes, identify automation opportunities, and help implement improvements to systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors to assess and implement operational improvements.
  • Assist with tax optimization reviews, tax filing processes, audits, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
  • Maintain internal financial controls to support growth and protect financial integrity.
  • Support financial integration activities for newly acquired businesses, including ERP implementation, account mapping, and reporting governance.
  • Review monthly integration deliverables to ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Qualified financial accountant or CPA with a solid track record of results-driven accomplishments.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of one ERP integration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in both French and English, written and verbal, is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
