Description

  • Own end-to-end development of the enterprise voice AI agent, including architecture, features, integrations, and maintenance.
  • Build and tune voice AI pipelines covering speech recognition, natural language understanding, dialogue management, and text-to-speech.
  • Develop and maintain the platform’s frontend in React and Next.js and backend in Node.js and Python.
  • Integrate the voice agent with existing systems such as CRMs, telephony platforms, APIs, and client infrastructure.
  • Maintain a prioritized backlog and deliver features and improvements to production independently.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison with the Dutch-speaking portfolio company, running requirements sessions, reviews, and status updates in Dutch.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and working software.
  • Write client-facing documentation, release notes, and user guides in Dutch.
  • Manage expectations and communicate timelines, risks, and decisions clearly.
  • Design and integrate AI agents to automate testing, debugging, performance monitoring, and feature prototyping.

Requirements

  • Professional written and spoken Dutch language proficiency is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • 1–3 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent strong project-based work.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience building production applications with React and Next.js, including routing, SSR/SSG, API routes, and data fetching.
  • Backend experience with Node.js and/or Python, including REST APIs, authentication, and third-party integrations.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including schema design and querying.
  • Familiarity with testing practices and frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Comfort with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals including HTTP, authentication, caching, security, and performance.
  • Interest in and basic experience with AI-assisted or agentic development workflows.
  • Experience with voice AI platforms, telephony APIs, or conversational AI systems such as Twilio, Vocode, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, or Rasa is preferred.
  • Experience with LLM integration and prompt engineering in production systems is preferred.
  • Experience designing, building, or supervising agentic AI tools in a software development context is preferred.
  • Experience deploying and operating apps on cloud platforms such as Vercel, AWS, GCP, Azure, or Docker is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and automated testing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Dutch business and enterprise software landscape is preferred.
