Description

  • Build mobile-first resident and site-team parking experiences for search, reservations, assignments, payments, and management using React and TypeScript.
  • Assess existing vendor workflows with Product and design teams to determine which flows to retain, improve, or remove.
  • Deliver accessible WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant interfaces that securely handle payment and vehicle data.
  • Integrate the application with the existing Parking API through its OpenAPI contract.
  • Design and develop missing REST API endpoints using TypeScript, AWS Lambda, and PostgreSQL.
  • Plan and execute the migration from the vendor platform, including parallel UI operation, phased community rollouts, feature flags, and rollback procedures.
  • Write unit, component, and Playwright end-to-end tests for payment and reservation workflows.
  • Monitor production logs and alarms, resolve defects, and support site-team issues end to end.
  • Use AI coding assistants, including Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, in daily development workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production web applications, including 3+ years with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience shipping a mobile-first, customer-facing application supporting bookings, payments, or similar transactions.
  • Experience building REST endpoints and writing SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, or similar OAuth solutions.
  • Experience migrating or replacing live systems without downtime through feature flags, phased rollouts, or parallel runs.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, design, and non-technical operations users and guide workflow decisions.
  • Commitment to production ownership, automated testing, and accountability for shipped work.
  • Located in LATAM and available to work U.S. business hours.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the country of residence without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred: experience in parking, mobility, property management, or multifamily residential; payment processing and PCI; MRI or similar property-management systems; AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, or component libraries built from Figma designs.
