Description

  • Develop user experiences across mobile and web applications.
  • Design and implement scalable applications and services within a unified product architecture.
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams to evaluate and shape new features.
  • Pair with developers to deliver solutions and share technical knowledge.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, code quality, and process improvements.
  • Implement automated testing and own the reliability of team services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident management.
  • Evaluate new technologies that improve delivery speed and user outcomes.
  • Help teammates resolve blockers and complete work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience leading large projects on high-scale distributed systems.
  • Full-stack development experience with Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, or JavaScript, including React or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or GCP Cloud SQL, including migrations, profiling, and optimization.
  • Experience developing APIs and scalable services for mobile applications and web clients.
  • Experience delivering complex projects and debugging issues across multiple systems.
  • Experience architecting APIs, event streams, and webhooks.
  • Experience working with distributed systems.
  • Experience building services for livestreaming, advertising, or subscriptions (preferred).
  • Comfort working remotely across time zones.
  • Permanent U.S. residency and eligibility to work from an approved hiring state.
