Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Implement complex data transformations, routing, and orchestration logic with DataWeave, Mule Expressions, and custom Java components.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration patterns.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance custom Java applications, modules, and utilities that integrate with MuleSoft services or run as microservices.
  • Apply Java best practices, design patterns, and Spring Boot to build scalable and secure applications.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing across MuleSoft and Java components.
  • Implement API security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management.
  • Contribute to API design standards, governance, and documentation, and publish APIs to Anypoint Exchange.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and distributed engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, including OOP, data structures, and Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on MuleSoft experience with API-led connectivity and Anypoint Platform tools such as API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center.
  • Experience with DataWeave for complex data transformations and integration patterns across distributed systems.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and Git for version control.
  • Solid understanding of API governance and security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work remotely from LatAm (Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, or Brazil) aligned to PST hours.
  • Experience with SOAP web services alongside REST is a plus.
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing integrations for performance and reliability at scale is preferred.
