Description

  • Build ingestion pipelines from Salesforce CRM, external APIs, object storage, and cloud data warehouses.
  • Map source data to the Salesforce Data 360 canonical model and maintain associated data streams.
  • Design, tune, and measure identity resolution rulesets across data sources.
  • Build calculated insights, segments, activation targets, and Agentforce grounding data.
  • Implement consent, data-retention, and data-residency controls within data models.
  • Develop and orchestrate tested, traceable SQL and Python transformation pipelines.
  • Monitor data freshness, volume, schema drift, and pipeline costs, and implement alerting.
  • Optimize consumption-based Salesforce Data 360 costs and report pipeline-level expenses.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience with production pipeline ownership in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM data models and their differences from warehouse models.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Data 360 data streams, data model objects, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation.
  • Strong SQL proficiency, including window functions and query tuning.
  • Python experience for transformation, orchestration, and API integration.
  • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of dimensional and canonical modeling, including star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and surrogate keys.
  • Experience with data quality, lineage, and observability tooling.
  • Advanced or fluent English (C1/C2); permanent work authorization in the country of residence without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.
