Description

  • Collaborate with clients to make strategic decisions affecting business solutions.
  • Create future-state enterprise architectures for clients at scale.
  • Ensure the integrity of technical designs and features within the enterprise architecture.
  • Lead development teams and transition between requirements and new challenges as needed.
  • Provide accurate estimates for project scope and development timelines.
  • Facilitate backlog creation, maintenance, and planning.
  • Lead client discussions on best practices for enterprise web and software applications.
  • Advise on platforms, design patterns, and enterprise solution practices.
  • Mentor junior team members to support growth and project success.
  • Maintain productive relationships with stakeholders to keep projects moving smoothly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect.
  • At least 7 years of enterprise-scale design and implementation experience in software development.
  • Deep knowledge in at least two technical disciplines: cloud computing, cloud-native, application development, and middleware.
  • Proven expertise with Azure or AWS; experience with both is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with enterprise patterns and principles such as Microservices, EDA, DDD, and N-Tiers.
  • Competency in enterprise architecture, middleware, and data flow diagramming.
  • Ability to audit and document existing architectures and ecosystems, identifying gaps, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with modern API design patterns and principles, including defining API specifications preferably using Swagger.
  • Proficiency with enterprise tools such as SQL, Service Bus/Message Queue, Caching, ESB, and ETL.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with developers in both outsourced and in-house environments.
  • Prior experience as a developer.
  • Growth mindset with receptiveness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Preferred background in consulting or client-facing roles.
  • Preferred experience contributing to open-source projects or public repositories such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Experience as an Enterprise Architect at a digital or creative agency.
  • Understanding of object-oriented principles such as interfaces, composition, and polymorphism.
  • Understanding of AI tools/models and how they can accelerate job responsibilities.
  • Work sample required at the time of application.
