Description

  • Own competitive monitoring across product launches, pricing changes, messaging shifts, and sales motions.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows to gather and synthesize competitive signals from multiple sources.
  • Distill research into clear, opinionated insights that inform positioning and sales strategy.
  • Maintain and continuously update battlecards, competitive briefs, differentiation frameworks, and competitive guides.
  • Partner with sales to create practical talk tracks and objection-handling frameworks.
  • Participate in deal reviews to understand competitive dynamics in live sales conversations.
  • Train sales reps on competitive materials and refine enablement assets based on field feedback.
  • Design repeatable AI-assisted research workflows and experiment with automation, agents, and prompt systems.
  • Track adoption and effectiveness of competitive materials and refine content based on measurable impact.
  • Expand into partner marketing initiatives over time, including co-marketing narratives and enablement with ecosystem partners.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in product marketing, sales, competitive intelligence, or strategy.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insight.
  • Ability to read and reason about code, APIs, and technical documentation.
  • Strong synthesis skills and a structured approach to turning noisy inputs into clear frameworks and insights.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams and supporting live deals.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools in daily workflows.
  • Deep curiosity about how products, markets, and buyers behave.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience in Data/ML, AI, or developer-focused products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with building automation or AI-assisted workflows is a plus.
  • Exposure to competitive intelligence programs in high-growth companies is a plus.
  • Interest in buyer psychology and decision-making dynamics is a plus.
  • Exposure to coding or building technical side projects is a plus.
