Description

  • Work cross-functionally in an Agile environment to support application delivery.
  • Build and update a custom web application within a microservices architecture.
  • Develop front-end functionality and support back-end code when needed.
  • Apply accessibility standards and support Section 508 compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to respond to emerging client needs.
  • Work independently and with the team in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and progress.
  • Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate across stakeholders.
  • Support integration of the application with other client systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of custom web application development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with VueJS.
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, including understanding of UI frameworks and back-end architecture interactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with JavaScript and CSS.
  • Strong experience developing and consuming FastAPI and/or RESTful web services.
  • Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent issue resolution skills within open-source products.
  • Continuous integration (CI) experience.
  • Understanding of mobile-friendly website design.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 standards.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with the federal government is preferred.
  • Experience with Vite, Quasar, or Pinia is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  • Experience working in Scrum or SAFe environments with 2- to 3-week sprint cycles is preferred.
  • Experience with Python back-end coding is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
  • Sponsorship is not available.
  • Must be willing to complete any required background investigation or security clearance verification.
